During Eid, an Islamic holiday, Ghufran returns to their home:the Paper City. They're full of life and color while the city is monotonous. Upon entering their family's home they notice that they're no longer included in the family photo. Soon, Ghufran’s father Returns home and he's distraught at their presence. He starts abusing Ghufran and no other family members dare to stand up to him for fear of punishment. Despite this, Ghufran chooses to face their father in hopes of mending the broken relationship once and for all.
