Hello! I am a producer with 12 years of experience spanning independent film and game development, including seven years dedicated to art production and external development. Most recently, I was Art Manager at Pocket Gems, where I ran the character art pipeline for Episode and Episode: Reality Stars. My team delivered over 300 character assets monthly on a live-service schedule, and for four years I served as the primary daily point of contact for external partner studios across Asia and Eastern Europe. Working closely with art direction and engineering, I helped build internal AI tools that cut asset turnaround from half a day to just two hours.
Outside the studio, I continue to produce independent work. I led a seven-person team to build the playable demo for CLOUD: Journey to the Sun, a 3D narrative puzzle game directed by Erick Oh. Currently, I am producing the animated short Double Smooth, a Roy W. Dean Grant finalist. My past producing credits also include Oren’s Way, an Oscar-qualified 2D short made in close collaboration with an animation studio in Indonesia.
I came to producing as an artist. After studying storyboarding and 3D character animation at the Academy of Art University, I taught for four years, then worked in Seoul as a traditional animator on The Shower (2017), an adaptation of Hwang Sun-won’s classic novella. Having sat in the artist's chair, I understand firsthand what a revision note costs in labor and morale, and I build my schedules around it.
I grew up in Korea, spent seven years in New Zealand, and have lived abroad for more than twenty years. Questions of home, displacement, and belonging surface frequently across my work, whether I am steering a production pipeline or painting traditional Minhwa on Hanji paper. I speak Korean, English, and Japanese, often using my language skills to track down regional specialties on foreign-language menus. Outside of work, I spend my time hiking, walking, and spoiling my two cats.
